About EveningStar
Meet Your Guide: Evening Krauel, RYT 200
An Oregon native, Evening grew up in Eugene and discovered yoga more than 25 years ago while attending graduate school at the University of Oregon. What began as a way to relieve stress and support athletic recovery soon became a much deeper practice. Over time, she came to appreciate yoga as a powerful path toward physical well-being, mental clarity, and spiritual balance.
With more than a decade of teaching experience and over 1,000 hours of instruction, Evening founded EveningStar Yoga to make yoga welcoming and accessible within her community. She is passionate about helping others to cultivate their practice to move through challenges, build mental and physical strength, and reconnect with themselves.

Experience and Approach:
Evening brings a diverse teaching background shaped by her work in studio, athletic, and retreat settings. She completed her teacher training at Portland’s highly regarded YoYoYogi studio, where she later joined the teaching team. She also taught at CorePower Yoga, a nationally recognized yoga studio community.
Expanding her work beyond the traditional studio, Evening served as the yoga coach for the Portland State University men’s tennis team, helping collegiate athletes improve mobility, support recovery, and strengthen focus.
She partnered with her husband to host tennis and yoga retreats at the prestigious Salishan Resort, thoughtfully blending movement, restoration, and connection for their clients experience.
